Running a First Build with Visual Studio

Before running a first build, open the solution that you want to build.

The elements in the IncrediBuild menu in Visual Studio correspond one-to-one with the Visual Studio Build menu.

To start building a solution:

Running a Build From the Command Line

You can run batch builds (i.e. compile a few configurations in parallel) using a simple command line:
/cfg config_a config_b
to build two configurations (config_a and config_b) in parallel.

You can also initiate builds from the Batch dialog box (Batch setup or Batch windows) using BuildConsole from the command line. For a full reference of BuildConsole features, click here.
