VP of R&D

IncrediBuild, a world leader in accelerating software development, is looking for a VP R&D to lead the R&D group and projects.

This executive is responsible for the overall leadership and management of research and development for IncrediBuild’s products and major expansion into new product development.

 

In this position, you will have the full responsibility for the software development including requirements, design, coding, testing and dev infrastructure and tools. You will manage team managers, and lead five teams: Windows, Linux, Test Automation, Web and IT.

 

You will lead research and specification of newly required capabilities and components, define product architecture, R&D infrastructures and tools and work with the product manager in defining solution roadmap.

 

Responsibilities:

- Build and develop a best in class research and development team for new product development and emerging technologies for IncrediBuild’s products.

- Create a professional & highly committed development group with an open culture of communication

- Leadership in recruiting, training and reviewing continuous processes

- Drive new technologies and create coherent architecture

- Manage scrum development teams (Include developers in Ukraine).

 

 Requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience leading a development teams of at least 30 people.

- 5+ years’ experience in C++ development- must

- Solid track record of leading multi-functional teams

- Led multiple complex programs in early stages of concept development, as well as, commercialization while driving product delivery for large installed based product offering.

- Experience in Cross-platform products (Windows and Linux) - an advantage

  • Experienced in Linux C++ development
  • Experienced in developing C++ with Visual Studio

- Experience in bring-up of a user-oriented technological product (not only information systems\web\mobile\embedded\hardware…)

- Excellent capabilities in bring best of talent yet maintain a highly collaborative and sociable team environment

  • Develop and execute a partner strategy across the technology ecosystem

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Tech evangelism, Partnerships & Alliances
  • Technical expertise knowledge and background in software development / DevOps / Continuous Delivery or related felids – MUST 
  • Experience at a technology or technology consulting company. Software Development / SaaS infrastructure / Cloud infrastructure. 
  • Proven track record in prospecting, negotiating, closing, and executing partnerships
  • Expert technology acumen; deep understanding of technology adoption and market drivers
  • A big-picture thinker who can easily weave use cases into a coherent go to market strategy
